AFTER CARE
After the procedure, the tattoo will settle into the skin over a period of approximately 1-2 weeks. During this time, the treated area may develop scabs and itchiness. It's crucial not to forcefully peel offscabs, as this can cause color fading and unevenness.
On the Day of Session(施術当日)
- The treated area will be protected with waterproof film or wrap before you leave.
- If using waterproof film, you can leave it on for about a week. If it comes off, moisturize the area with petroleum jelly (Vaseline).
- If using wrap, remove it on the same day of treatment and gently rinse the area with water only (avoid soap). No disinfection is necessary, but keep the area clean to prevent bacterial infection.
- Avoid alcohol consumption, strenuous exercise, and prolonged baths. Showers are recommended.
After the Day of Session(施術当日以降)
- For several days, ink or blood may ooze from the treated area, so be cautious with clothing and bedding.
- If you went home with wrap, continue moisturizing with petroleum jelly to prevent dryness.
- Once scabs begin to form, allow them to naturally fall offwithout rubbing or peeling.
Individual healing times vary, but typically within 1-2 weeks, scabs will completely shed, and the tattoo will settle into the skin, completing the process.
The process until the tattoo heals completely
The images below depict the progression of three tattoos cared for using the following methods: "No treatment (left)," "Vaseline (center)," and "Waterproof film (right)," observed throughout the healing process.

"Without care," compared to "Vaseline" and "Waterproof film," the tattoo healed slower, with scabs still present on the 9th day.
"Waterproof film" tends to darken due to fluid and ink accumulation inside, but ultimately results in the cleanest tattoo.
Even with thorough care, occasional color fading may occur.
